new to this way of eating, showing great progess
So this is a bit about me and why I decided to be a "dirty" carnivore. I have been doing Atkins and LC for the passed 2 years off and on. It was pretty easy to do once I got down the basic, but then when I started back on track I noticed I wasnt wanting the veggies like I had before. So I stopped eating them for a week...it wasnt hard and I didnt miss it. Thats when I looked into doing bascially zero carb and found my new friends who have named what I do being a "dirty carnivore". The only time I eat anything non-meat or (cheese cream butter) is when I go out to eat and have pretty much nothing to choose from. At that time I will add a small salad if I am really hungry.
During the past month I have realized my energy level is at an all time high!! I sleep better than I have ever slept in my life. My joints and muscles no longer bother me when I have to stand all day at work. I have lost weight and noticed subtle changes in my shape. (I can actually close my fingers around my wrist and they touch!!!) I have figured out the difference between being hungry and just having an appetite. I eat maybe 2 meals a day depending on the meat and fat ratio. I find that I cannot and do not want to overeat. Its a fabulous way to live!! And since I am a "dirty carnivore" I dont feel bad for the occasional veggie.
